its been awhile...

lots been goin on, i guess for that reason...no time for xanga.

like always...here's the quick updates:

was in chicago for a couple of days.  work thingy..but had a blast!  the first nite we had a dinner cruise.  had the most ammmazing sunset few of the skyline. sooo romanitc.  too bad it was with coworkers.  of course, i had wine with dinner so i was feelin good...afterwards we hit a random bar called "dicks last resort" (dont you love the name!)  anyhow..it was a dicks where i discovered jagerbombs.  omg what a YUMMY drink.  its a shot of jagermeister dropped into a mug of red bull...mmmm....

nite two was even more amazing cuz i met a boy. *blush*  a hot one too, a happa, but im not gonna go into too much details cuz hes a bazillion miles away *sigh*....anyhow, started the drinking binge in the hotel lobby at like 6 pm.  had two cape cods.  proceeded to dinner, had one screwdriver.  proceed to a bar called bush maguires on division st; had stoli ras and seven, then a jagerbomb, then rumplemint, then another jagerbomb, then proceed to the next bar and had two lemon drops and two beers.  i was one happy chick...but now my liver hates me.

i had the most amazing time this past saturday in the malibu area.  had a yummy lunch at this restaurant called geofrys.  its suppose to be one of the best in malibu.  this place had a magnificient view of the ocean.  comes highly, highly recommend.  anyhow...roamed around 3rd street, and it kinda got me a bit nosalgic...the good ole ucla days.

sunday was super chill.  woke up at like 930 and didnt know what to eat.  my buddy diana was plannin on having brunch..so i proceeded to raid the fridge.  let me share what i had:

* half a cup of hagen daz ice cream (300 calories/200 from fat)

* half a toll house brownie (280 calories/200 from fat)

* couple of pieces of beef jerky (god knows how many calories)

* half a capri sun

it gets worse...diana and i went to plums for brunch. and i had to have the french toast.  *sigh*  so add another bazillion calories to the bazillion calories i had for breakfast.  ya know what though..i dont even care cuz the french toast was sooooo good.  if anyone likes  breakfast food...plums in newport comes highly highly recommend.  i think it got a 27 out of a possible 30 for the zagat rating.  and of course to top of my day, i had a greasy dinner at chevys.  water and celery day for tomorrow.  hahaha..YA RIGHT!

uncertainty scares the ba-jeezes out of me...

it mindboggling how ppl find it exciting or thrilling.  i'd rather just know.

just a random though on my back from my YUMMY lunch with diana.  if you havent tried a sandwich from vie de france, you have not lived.

Cancer's horoscope for Monday, June 7:

A very delicate situation is about to take a very surprising turn. Will you be shocked? Probably not. Delighted? Yep. This could be exactly what you've been praying for.

-----------------

yea...im back again...twice in one nite.  im tellin you..im pissed.  anyhow...just checked my horoscope for today... *sigh*  and im gonna stay the positive person i've always been...and trust that everything happens for the reason...and today, at the very least, was a lesson learned.

(thanks to my special buddy who took the time to cheer me up!!)
